UNFORGETTABLE: SHORT STORIES

NORMALLY I DON’T GO FOR SHORT STORIES BUT THESE STORIES ALL HAD THE SAME CHARACTER, MARIAM BATSON, IN THEM.  SHE IS PROBABLY ABOUT MY AGE AND IS DEALING WITH THE SUDDEN DEATH OF HER FATHER AND TRYING TO KEEP HER MOTHER WITH ALZHEIMER’S AT HOME AND SAFE.  I RECENTLY WENT THROUGH SIMILAR EVENTS IN MY LIFE AND IT BROUGHT BACK MEMORIES – NOT ALL GOOD!  IT WAS AN EASY, WORTHWHILE READ!
